Providing the highest quality environment for your last farewells
Featured on BBC TV's "How To Have a Good Death", Gwent Crematorium, situated in Croesyceiliog, near Cwmbran, in South East Wales, offers families the highest quality in presentation for funerals.
The Crematorium has received a number of major major national awards:
Cemetery of the Year 2006 - runner-up in the crematorium section "for excellence and innovation in cemetery management, design and customer service"
Cemetery of the Year 2007 - received an honourable mention in the crematorium section and a Special Award for the best floral displays in either crematoria or cemeteries.
Wales in Bloom 2007 - First Prize in the Public Buildings category. The grounds were described by Wales in Bloom judges in 2006 (when we received a Merit award) as "truly remarkable....a real delight". After praise like that, we keenly awaited the judge's full report for 2007! We were not disappointed - The judge commented "every aspect of the crematorium grounds offered something completely different. I was extremely conscious that the gardens had been designed to create a spiritual and mystical atmosphere. Walking around the peaceful and tranquil gardens certainly left me feeling as if I was on a spiritual journey through Heaven." Read the full report here
